pplz help....tel me how shld i prepare for GRE -TOEFHL????(for english)?

well m a 2nd year b.tech student...n i want to do m.s....so i hv to write gre or toefhl wtever..bt i dnt knw about any coaching,any stdy material....bt i m very desperate for foriegn..so plz suggest me how i cn prepare myself for tis......plzzzzz

hi dude, its not toefhl, its TOEFL which stands for Test of English As Foreign Language... it test ur english skills like listening, reading, writing... its for 120 marks (above 90 is good)... GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination... its for 1600 marks with 800 for quantitative questions (maths) and 800 for verbal( english vocabulary,...)... above 1300 is good... it will be enough if u start preparing at the beginning of ur 3rd year... the best book is Barron's GRE and Barron's TOEFL (u can also use Princeton or Kaplan, but barron is said to be best)... u can check the website http://www.ets.org for details regarding the exam...
