What is erasmus scholarship and what is required to have one?

Ok, so my parents don´t want me to study medicine in the university but maybe if I get a scholarship they might let me study! So please let me know if parental approval is needed and for which universities, countries, etc would the scholarship be accessible. Also I wanted to know the requirements for me to have the scholarship!
