How can I practice listening English ?

I am a Chinese boy and I study in a college .Now I want to study English well but I can't catch up with what others say ,i can't understand what they say ,please help me and tell waht should i do to improve my English hearing !!!!thank you very much !

Make some friends that speak english. Personally I've never been able to learn languages very well while listening to movies; I'm more of a person who likes to listen to other people speak and try to interpret what I can. You can also just try to speak English normally with a group of friends who also want to learn to speak English. If I could I would help you myself :/ Good luck! :)

Watch a lot of television and movies. In english of course. English subtitles will help too because you will practice your reading, and hear it as you read it.

My friend learned alot of English by watching sesame street, and then watching Youtube videos to understand some of the slang. He was from brazil. He speaks it very fluently now.

try to see a lot of movies in english of course and TV and to reading books and to improve your vocabulary in this language.

Watch english television, news, documentary (maybe soaps), this all helped me, to improve my english. Also : http://www.businessenglishpod.com/ and go to podcast. My teacher always use this to practice our English listening and it helped me alot. there are questions what they ask you and you need to listen in order to find it. I hope this helped good luck!
