Which book is best for learning English grammar at intermediate/advanced levels?

I am looking for a book that is written simply, without much jargon and one with lots of examples and exercises! I have GCSE in English, but now I want to learn formal English myself. I have already got Oxford Practice Grammar. I like the CGP style. Help!

I teach ESL and I LOVE the book Grammar In Context. I teach the intermediate level and we are on book 3, the fourth edition. It starts out with present perfect, and now in chapter 2 we are studying passive voice. The book is a series, and I believe it goes up to number 6, but I am not sure about that. The book is so fantastic!!!! It has wonderful examples, easy to follow exercises, and is set up in a terrific format.
