Is it harder for Latinos to learn english in high schools than for any other non-american individual?

In ESL classes in high schools, is it harder for Latinos to learn english since whatever they need to know is laid out infront of them in their own language? OR would you say that it's just as hard for them to learn English? Or is it easy to learn a new language for anyone?

I would not say it is easy for anyone to learn a new language. But it is certainly no more difficult for Latinos than it is for everyone else.

learning a language doesn't come easy to anyone at all. i've tried to learn spanish and italian. it's super duper hard.

The problem is America is more catering to Spanish than any other language. So instead of total immersion you get to fall back on your native language if something is not understood. But languages like Arabic and Chinese, which also use different characters, aren't much catered to in school. So either way its hard
