How do you prepare for the GMAT or GRE?

I never took the ACT. I took the SAT and did better than average but not even do close to my potential. I have always done very well in all tests throughout college, mainly because I think work ethic beats brains. I hate difficult standardized tests but taking the GMAT or GRE is required for admission to grad school. Do most programs just need test scores for one or the other? Any special tips? Cost to take the tests?

GMAT is only required for admission into any graduate business program. Every other program uses the GRE. Only take the GMAT if you are looking to get an MBA (if you need it...)
