Is TOEIC worth taking for me?

I've been in US for about 10 years. I studied middle school and high school here, and I graduated from University of California, Riverside. I am just wondering if I should take TOEIC to prove my ability to communicate in English.

Hell no, it is a total waste of time. If somebody does ask for a proof of language ability, why not simply demonstrate proof of your US residence for the past 10 years and your diploma from University of California? I think that's more than enough.
