How could a scholarship help a student reach their academic goals?

I have to answer this question on a scholarship form, but I have no idea what to write. Can you give me some general ideas that could help me? Any answers will be helpful, thanks!

the key to this is to lie. seriously. say that it will help a person because if they can't academically get to where they want to be a scolarship can be like a back door into the college or watever. its common knowledge just bluff ur way through it talk bullshit and it will be fine. say how u think a scolarship cud help someone.
