Contact the financial aid office at the school you are interested in attending. They have many resources and services to assist you...for example...our financial aid office has 3 counselors who mainly assist veteran students. Call and request to speak to them. You will also be eligible for funds by filling out the FAFSA!!!!! Good luck! ;)

There are a number of types of college funding. Most are not scholarships. The earlier answer about the FAFSA is absolutely correct however filling the FAFSA out in a way that maximizing your funding is very important. Most aid resources rely heavily on this system. Did you know that combined the colleges and universities have around 60 billion dollars of endowment monies that could be used to attract students like yourself? I am a volunteer with a nonprofit organization that coaches students on getting into college as well as how to maximize the funding you receive. Talk to your mom and watch a presentation on the subject together at www.DollarsForSchool.com You will learn a great deal. Good luck in school and make sure you do your due diligence on the schools that interest you.
