How shud I grow ma hair and how can i get it straight?

I DON'T wanna use hair extensions, I don't wanna change the colour, I jus wanna grow it. I also use hair straightners evry day nd I'm worried it's not gd 4 ma hair but I NEED them! My hairs short and I want to grow it with bangs. What helps hair grow and what other methods r there 4 poker straight hair? Thx!
