MAT or GRE? Which is better for admission into an M.A. English program?

Is the MAT easier or more difficult than the GRE? I don't know which one I should take.

Well, which test is more difficult depends on the perception of the tester, to be sure.... Since I've taken both tests more than once, I believe that the GRE is more difficult overall....but the GRE is very manageable with preparation...... Since English is a liberal arts program, I'm pretty sure that the GRE is preferred by most MA graduate programs..... Good luck!
