two wrongs dont make a right. i suggest that you do not call him names, nor should you say "oh thank you" when he calls you something mean because thats childish and not nessasary. just tell them to back off, and if you have to, pick a fight. if you win then great, you get respect, if you lose then you'd probably have something broken or a big bruise. use this as evidence and that could get them suspened for a week or more

You could try saying one of these: "Did you forget to pay your brain bill?" "Are you this rude to everyone, or am I special?" "When I want your opinion I'll read your entrails." "It's hard to get the big picture when you have such a small screen." But honestly, the best approach is to look him in the eye for a second with an expression of contempt, say nothing, and walk away.

If you are going to allow him to bully you than I don't think calling him mean names is going to stop him. He's a bully find someone else.
