Assuming you wish to emigrate as a skilled worker - you need to read the following webpages and do the assessment test to see if you qualify. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp You must meet the following minimum requirements to apply as a skilled worker: You have at least one continuous year of full-time, paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment. (4 years fulltime is best) Your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC). You must have had this experience within the last 10 years http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/noc.asp NOC list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp You must get 67 points to qualify If you are USA - it is currently taking between 16 months and 2 years to be approved to emigrate. Your english test must be done and sent in with the application in the beginning. It would help if I knew what country you are in.
