What are the basic things to learn English Speaking?

To speak or write english we need to learn grammer as well vocabulary. I believe vocabulary we can increase by reading,talking to people, or listening english channels. But i am concern about grammer. What are the basic topics in grammer that one must know just to speak or write in day to day life. I am learning verbs, tenses and pronouns at present. What else should i learn?
