Do you think that private coaching for English Grammar is useful?

asha v - 2007-12-20 02:10:20 - Primary Secondary Education

In the competitive world, there is a need to master the world language of English. Do u think that the grammar included in school syllabus and teaching is sufficient for the students? Do they need some more/extra practise in grammatical english?

Best Answer:

There's no harm in having extra help if it gives you an edge in such a competitive work market, you go for it and GOOD LUCK for a bright future.

Yes it really helps, both where English is the native language and where it is a foreign language because English has become the global language and specially while interacting with people from different horizons it gives a bad impression when you have grammatical errors in your speech. Grammar is not a set of rules to be taught to students rather they should be involved in activity based grammar practices where they learn language through using it in real life situational.

You want to improve your grammar? try reading some good English books, and News Papers. Instead in speaknng in your vernacular language try speaking with people that speak good English. Initially you will find it tough as well as embarrassing, but it will be the best way to improve your language.

Private coaching is always useful as there is a "one is to one " interaction of tutor and learner. The lessons move according to the pace of the learner and therefore allows maximum assimilation of knowledge.

in private coaching, our kids, meet other kids of different schools. grammer when exchanged with different kids, increases. a child would say the same sentance with different words. you n me, we, us. there are many things that a child can pick up.
