What are some things to help non-english speaker learn english?

I have this early morning reading class and some of them doesnt know english and was wondering what are some way for them to learn english so i can tell it to the teacher.

Simple: interact with them with sincerely and they will catch up eventually.

Tell them to watch Sesame Street. I taught ESL classes when I worked at a summer school camp like 6 years ago, and it helped my students immensely.

They should have a translating digital device or hand book translator.

The government has free classes to teach people English. Just contact the local city council.

Watching TV in English is supposed to help a lot!

Hey english is my second language also, so it was pretty hard to learn. What really helped me was watching tv shows in english. I seriously learned alot faster. Try it really works!

SONG...SINGING is easiest learned. TRUST me SESAME street on this one. :) I also teach things in SONG . IT does NOT matter the age. My students range from 16 to 80

Huh? I think your teacher may be your best bet on that on! What language do you speak?

communicate (its ok to make mistakes because you learn from them) make them feel a bit more confident in their ability (give them a praise when they make an effort to speak english) watch movies in english don't let the non english speakers sit together because then they will start speaking their language (if they speak the same language)

They should read children's books and magazine in English. They can watch English and American TV and movies. It would help if they had someone who speaks English to talk to.
