Hi I want to improve my spoken English and also improve my listening skill in English. Actually I am not a beginner, I can manage smooth conversation but I’ll stick between, gasping for words. Before I seek help, let me explain my current efforts to achieve fluency in spoken English. Reading regularly newspapers, books, articles on the web etc. Watching English channels, movie Any suggestions/pointers will be greatly appreciated. Regards Naushad

Hi Naushad, your best bet would be to take a beginners English class at either a high school which is usually taught for people who need to get there GED which is the equivalent of a high school diploma. Your "use" of the english language is not that great as in your use of "my spoken English". It's not easy to get the true meaning of words without a proper education of some sort. Watching TV and reading gives you pieces- but to get the whole puzzle, you need some classes....good luck to you...

I find when learning a language (I speak 3 really really really badly) that it's best to try to write something in that language and get it checked by an expert. I'll check some stuff for you if u like.
