What colleges give full scholarships to National Merit Finalists and Scholarship recipients?

I heard that there are some colleges that give scholarships to students who have been named either scholarship winners or possibly just finalists in the National Merit Competition. Does anybody know what they are?

Best Answer:

There are three different ways of getting money for being a finalist/semi-finalist. One, is directly from the college that you want to go to. Two, is from different corporations that sponsor the competition. And last from National Merit Corporation. You can only get money from one of these three ways. I know many colleges give full scholarships. Go to http://homepage.mac.com/l_j/secondhome/National_Merit.html to find a list. Of course scholarship money varies from school to school and student to student. Also not all finalists get money from the competition. It is possible that schools who don't sponsor the competition give money to finalists.
