Can someone tell me where Peter Costello was during APEC?

We saw Alexander and Mark do their thing, but no Pete to be seen anywhere. Maybe Howard had made up his mind before the big Party in Sydney. Goes to show how much you can really have a great and trusting relationship with your Deputy as Howard has said previously.

He was hiding in his office trying to come up with a really good reason for why he should take over from Howard this week. My sources say this week we will see an election anouncement or a new PM. hmmmm. interesting......... Howard sucks and so does Costello.

Oh dear, now that I've stopped laughing at that photo of perhaps the next Leader of the Opposition I can see the keys to respond. Yes, he was very obvious in his absence from any photo opportunities during OPEC, sorry APEC. Maybe Johnny asked him to stay away so that the leaders of the other countries did see that the Village Idiot could be next in line. It would certainly have had them giggling all the way home in their private jets. Must see if I can blow that photo up and print a big copy, it's a true classic
