Any tips to improve my English listening?

It is very difficult for me to understand English speakers' saying? too much sound linking. Any tips to improve my English listening?

a good thing to do is to listen to something that you already know, like listening to the news while you have already listened to it first in your own language, Or watching a movie and reading the subtitles at the same time.

There is no easy way around learning a foreign language other than to immerse yourself within it. Force yourself to use the language in your everyday life. Other than that, I have no specific way of telling you how to learn it, other than to speak it and speak it constantly!

Listen to songs and watch TV shows that are in English.

im not good in listening too since iam not in an english speaking country... but as long as i do is keep practicing... never give up i really love watch holywood movies so it sure helps me a lot and also listen to music and predict the lyric hope you will find your coziest way to learn... n_n

Whenever she asked him a question, he'd start making weird noises and then answer in perfect English. Finally, she asked him where he had learnt his English from. Again he made those noises and then said Short Wave Radio. Listen to the news, BBC or CNN, watch English movies, you will hear how something that you have read is being said. You will also hear slangs, jokes that you have missed. Then you will begin to enjoy it better. There is the British way and the American way of speaking, so try and watch both channels. Goodluck.

The speed that one speaks is always difficult for a foreign listener. TV is not that easy as the speaker is confined to program time and sometimes has to fit too many words in a time slot. Advertisers are very prone to do that. One thing that I have noticed are translators on TV who are translating foreign speaker's words to English. They speak much slower. If you can listen to those it would be of help. Don't hesitate to ask someone during conversation to speak a little slower. In foreign countries I have been asked and in speaking a couple languages, I fully understand the difficulty. Even in America, in some parts of the country, it can be difficult for visitors from another area of the country. Without sounding racist, black people sometimes speak too fast for whites to understand. It's just part of a person's culture. I have seen some teachers speak too fast to students and the student gets lost. The student often will not ask the teacher to repeat, feeling stupid or embarrassed.
