Best Answer:

If you live in a country where English language movies or television shows are subtitled, you can pay close attention to the spoken dialogue while simultaneously getting a translation via the subtitles - just remember the subtitles aren't always very accurate, but if you're already quite good at English that shouldn't be too big a problem. In general, just listen to as much English as you can and actually pay attention, like paying attention to the lyrics when you're listening to music.

Audio books are a good way. Also internet radio broadcasts from all over the world are available online. The BBC stations are good and pronounce English clearly. Have you thought about using Skype Tutors for conversation exchange?

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt
